وأرضياتٌ مرصوفةٌ بفسيفساء مُطعَّمة بالجواهر كانت تتلألأ عند قمم البوابات؛ وصفوفُ القصور، المتلألئة ببياض الجِصّ، كانت حقًّا جديرة باسم «الصروح الملوكية».
