Tirtha: Maṅgala-tīrtha
Type: ghat
Scene: Two devotees at Maṅgala-tīrtha: one bathing, one elderly/weak offering namaskāra from the steps; both receive the same ‘maṅgala’ blessing signified by light and calm faces.
Purification is not only through bathing but also through humble reverence; both remove inauspiciousness.
