पप्रच्छ दमनं चेति कस्त्वं कस्मादिहागतः । तरुणोपि विरक्तोसि कुतस्तद्वद सत्तम
papraccha damanaṃ ceti kastvaṃ kasmādihāgataḥ | taruṇopi viraktosi kutastadvada sattama
وسأل دَمَنا: «مَن أنت، ومِن أين جئتَ إلى هنا؟ مع أنك شابٌّ فأنت زاهدٌ متجرّد؛ كيف نشأ ذلك؟ أخبرني، يا خيرَ الرجال».
