ثم جاءت سفردهوني، أي الغانغا المقدّسة، إلى هناك بفضل قدوم بهاغيراثا وسعيه؛ فصار ذلك التيرثا بالغَ الفضل، بل هو الأسمى.
Skanda (deduced; Kāśīkhaṇḍa context)
Tirtha: Daśāśvamedha (as Gaṅgā-connected uttama tīrtha)
Type: ghat
Scene: Gaṅgā (Svardhunī) flowing into the Kāśī tīrtha, with Bhagīratha in austerity posture; the river’s descent depicted as luminous, transforming the site into an ‘uttama tīrtha’ with pilgrims bathing.
When the Gaṅgā’s purifying presence unites with a kṣetra’s inherent sanctity, the merit of that place becomes incomparable.
The Daśāśvamedha tīrtha-zone in Kāśī, made ‘uttama’ by Gaṅgā’s presence.
No explicit rule is stated; the verse implies enhanced puṇya through Gaṅgā-related practices such as snāna and tīrtha-sevā.
