Śiva (deduced from “My being/body” soteriological claim)
Tirtha: Kṛttivāseśvara
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pārvatī or a sage interlocutor in Kāśīkhaṇḍa frame (contextual)
Scene: A devotee offers flowers and bilva to the liṅga; behind the liṅga, a subtle cosmic form of Śiva (viśvarūpa-like) appears, and the devotee’s silhouette merges into the divine radiance, symbolizing ‘entering My body’.
Liṅga-worship at Kṛttivāseśvara is depicted as union with Śiva and freedom from rebirth.
