prasaṃgatopi kaḥ kāśīṃ prāpya caṃdravibhūṣaṇa | kiṃcidvidhātuṃ śaktopi tyajetsthaviratāṃ dadhat
Brahmā
Tirtha: Kāśī (Avimukta)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Śiva as Candra-vibhūṣaṇa is invoked; the scene suggests an aura over Kāśī that quiets impulses—figures appear composed, with softened gestures and steady gazes, as if the city itself enforces restraint.
Kāśī is depicted as a place that naturally induces dharmic restraint and mature steadiness, discouraging wrongdoing even in the capable.
Kāśī (Vārāṇasī) as a transformative sacred space that elevates one’s disposition toward dharma.
No explicit rite; the verse emphasizes ethical transformation (self-restraint) as a fruit of being in Kāśī.
