Tirtha: Kāśī-tīrtha (generic tīrtha principle applied within Kāśī)
Type: ghat
Listener: null
Scene: A traveler unexpectedly reaches a sacred ghat; he sets down his bundle, folds hands, and steps into the river for a reverent bath while priests and pilgrims move along the steps.
Never neglect a tīrtha: even an unplanned encounter becomes spiritually fruitful when honored with sacred bathing.
Tīrthas in general within the Kāśīkhaṇḍa framework, with the broader chapter moving toward the glory of Avimukta (Kāśī).
Snāna (ritual bathing) at the tīrtha upon arrival, even if the visit is incidental.
