वित्रस्तपापां त्रिदशैर्दुरापां गंगां सदापां भवपाशशापाम् । शिवाविमुक्ताममृतैकशुक्तिं भुक्ताविमुक्तानपरित्यजन्ति

الذين ذاقوا (فضلها) لا يهجرون الغانغا—أمامها ترتعدُ الخطايا، وحتى الآلهةُ يعسرُ عليهم نيلُها، دائمةُ الإحياء، تلعنُ حبلَ قيدِ الدنيا؛ وهي المسماة «شيفافيموكتا» (غيرُ المتروكةِ من شيفا)، صَدَفةٌ واحدةٌ من رحيقِ الخلود—ولا يهجرون كذلك المخلصين لها.
