इति व्याकुलिते लोके सुरासुरनरोरगे । आःकिमेतदकांडेभूद्रुरुदुर्दुद्रुवुः प्रजाः
iti vyākulite loke surāsuranarorage | āḥkimetadakāṃḍebhūdrurudurdudruvuḥ prajāḥ
وهكذا اضطرب العالم—بين الآلهة والأسورا والبشر والحيات—فصاح الكائنون: «آه! ما هذه النازلة المفاجئة بلا سبب؟»؛ ينوحون، أخذت الخلائق تعدو مذعورة في كل ناحية.
