nānārūpaguṇairgītaṃ nāradapramukhairyutam | gaṃdharvaiścāpsarobhiśca sevitaṃ tamumāpatim | tatrasthaṃ ca mahādevaṃ praṇipatyābravītsutaḥ
Vyāsa (narration leading into Skanda’s speech)
Tirtha: Kailāsa
Type: peak
Listener: Pārtha/Yudhiṣṭhira
Scene: A grand celestial court: Śiva with Umā implied as 'Umāpati', surrounded by Nārada with vīṇā, Gandharvas singing, Apsarases offering service; Skanda enters, bows deeply, and begins to speak—capturing the moment just after prostration.
Bhakti is shown through praise and service to Umāpati; humility (praṇipāta) precedes worthy speech and divine instruction.
No tīrtha is directly named; the verse continues the Kailāsa-centered divine court setting within the Dharmāraṇya narrative.
Implicit devotional acts: stuti (hymnic praise), sevā (service), and praṇāma (prostration).
