tadyānasya gatirmaṃdā saṃjātā kila bhārata | maṃdaśabdāni vādyāni mātaṃgā maṃdagāminaḥ

يا بهاراتا، لقد غدت حركة تلك المركبة بطيئة حقًّا؛ وخفتت أصوات الآلات، وحتى الفيلة سارت بسيرٍ رفيقٍ متباطئ.
