मध्यं प्राप्ते सहस्रांशौ प्रस्थानं राघवस्य च । रामः कृत्वा प्रतिज्ञां हि प्रयातुं दक्षिणां दिशम्
madhyaṃ prāpte sahasrāṃśau prasthānaṃ rāghavasya ca | rāmaḥ kṛtvā pratijñāṃ hi prayātuṃ dakṣiṇāṃ diśam
فلما بلغَتِ الشمسُ ذاتُ الألفِ شعاعٍ كبدَ السماء، انطلقَ راغهافا. وإنّ راما، بعد أن عقدَ نذرَه، مضى حقًّا نحوَ جهةِ الجنوب.
