नैव यज्ञेन मे कार्यं सुरैश्चैव तथैव च । सर्वेषु यज्ञकार्येषु भागं ददतु मे सुराः
naiva yajñena me kāryaṃ suraiścaiva tathaiva ca | sarveṣu yajñakāryeṣu bhāgaṃ dadatu me surāḥ
«لا حاجة لي في نفسي إلى اليَجْنَا، ولا إلى الدِّيفات على هذا النحو. فليمنحني الدِّيفات نصيبًا في جميع أعمال القرابين والطقوس، من الآن فصاعدًا.»
