kathāḥ puṇyā dharmayutā ramyā vyāsamukhācchrutāḥ | dharmakāmārthasaṃyuktāḥ sarvāghaughavināśinīḥ

هذه الحكايات مقدّسة، مفعمة بالدارما وعذبة السماع، سُمِعت من فم فياسا نفسه. وهي مقرونة بالدارما والكاما والأرثا، فتُبيد سيلَ الخطايا كلَّه.
