sa ekadā jātakalakṣaṇajñānāhūya sādhūndvijamukhyavṛṃdān | kutūhalenābhiniviṣṭacetāḥ papraccha kanyājanane phalāni

Translation

وذات مرة استدعى جماعةً من سادة البراهمة الأتقياء، العارفين بعلم المواليد وعلامات اليُمن؛ وبقلبٍ مشدودٍ إلى الفضول سأل عن ثمرات وعواقب ولادة البنت.
