devasya purataḥ samyagupalipya navāṃbhasā | vidhāya maṃḍalaṃ ramyaṃ dhautavastrādibhirbudhaḥ
أمام الإله، على العابد الحكيم أن يمسح الموضع ويطهّره على الوجه الصحيح بماءٍ جديد؛ ثم يُنشئ ماندالا (maṇḍala) بهيّة مستخدمًا قماشًا مغسولًا وسائر الأشياء الطاهرة.
