حرقتها أشعة الشمس الحارقة وغطاها الغبار الساخن القاسي، وكانت أطرافها ملطخة بالقذارة - البراز والبول والقيح - تفوح منها رائحة الدم الكريهة لدرجة لا يطاق الاقتراب منها.
