अतोऽहं मर्तुमिच्छामि सहैव शिशुनाऽमुना । कृतार्थाहं यदद्य त्वामपश्यं मरणोन्मुखी
ato'haṃ martumicchāmi sahaiva śiśunā'munā | kṛtārthāhaṃ yadadya tvāmapaśyaṃ maraṇonmukhī
لذلك أريد أن أموت مع هذا الطفل. ومع ذلك أعدّ حياتي قد اكتملت، لأنني اليوم—وأنا مقبلة على الموت—قد رأيتك.
