तदिदा॑स॒ भुव॑नेषु॒ ज्येष्ठं॒ यतो॑ ज॒ज्ञ उ॒ग्रस्त्वे॒षनृ॑म्णः । स॒द्यो ज॑ज्ञा॒नो नि रि॑णाति॒ शत्रू॒ननु॒ यं विश्वे॒ मद॒न्त्यूमा॑ः ॥

Transliteration

tád ídāsa bhuváneṣu jyéṣṭhaṃ yáto jajñá ugrás tvéṣa-nṛ́mṇaḥ | sadyó jajñānó ní riṇāti śátrūn ánu yáṃ víśve mádanty ū́māḥ ||

Translation

ذلك حقًّا هو الأوّلُ في العوالم، الذي منه وُلِدَ العنيفُ ذو البأسِ الرجوليّ المتلألئ. ما إن وُلِدَ حتى يطرحُ الأعداءَ طرحًا؛ وهو الذي تتبعه، والذي تفرحُ به جميعُ القوى المبتهجة.
