असत्यादिचतुष्पादः सर्वांशः कामरूपधृक् । नास्तिक्यलक्ष्मीर्दुःसंगो वेदबाह्यध्वनिः सदा
asatyādicatuṣpādaḥ sarvāṃśaḥ kāmarūpadhṛk | nāstikyalakṣmīrduḥsaṃgo vedabāhyadhvaniḥ sadā
إنه قائمٌ على أربع دعائم أولها الكذب؛ وهو برمّته جزءٌ من مبدأ الأدهرما، يتشكّل بما تمليه الشهوة. له «ثراء» الإلحاد، ويلازم صحبة السوء، ويتكلم دائمًا بكلامٍ خارجٍ عن سلطان الفيدا.

It identifies key signs of bondage (pāśa) in Shaiva terms: untruth, desire-driven identity, disbelief, and corrupt association—traits that turn the soul away from Shiva-oriented dharma and toward further karmic entanglement.
Linga-worship presupposes śraddhā (reverent faith) and alignment with Vedic-Shiva conduct; the verse contrasts that path with nāstikya and veda-bāhya speech, which undermine devotion and the disciplines that make worship transformative.
Adopt satsanga (holy company) and satya (truthfulness), restrain desire-led speech, and stabilize daily japa of the Panchakshara—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as an antidote to veda-bāhya tendencies.
