It teaches that sincere, prescribed offering to Lord Shiva (Mahāpūrṇa) purifies the cause of repeated embodiment; devotion expressed through correct worship becomes a means toward liberation from rebirth.
Naivedya is a core upacāra in Linga-pūjā for Saguna Shiva; the verse emphasizes that ritual offering, when performed with Shiva-centered bhakti, supports the soul’s release from saṃsāra under Shiva’s grace.
Offer naivedya to Shiva as a disciplined act of worship (along with mantra-japa such as the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), dedicating the act to freedom from rebirth and seeking Shiva’s anugraha (grace).
