स्कन्दसरः (Skandasara) — तीर्थवर्णनम् / Description of the Skandasara Sacred Lake
व्यासेन चोक्तं महितेन मह्यं मया च तद्वः कथितं समासात् । नावेदविद्भ्यः कथनीयमेतत्पुराणरत्नं पुरशासनस्य
vyāsena coktaṃ mahitena mahyaṃ mayā ca tadvaḥ kathitaṃ samāsāt | nāvedavidbhyaḥ kathanīyametatpurāṇaratnaṃ puraśāsanasya
لقد أخبرني الموقَّر فياسا بهذا، وقد قصصته عليكم الآن بإيجاز. إن جوهرة هذا البورانا، العائدة إلى ربّ المدن وحاكمها (شيفا)، لا ينبغي أن تُشرح لمن لا يعرفون الفيدا.
