FAQs

It teaches that liberation-oriented Shaiva life does not require abandoning one’s lawful duties; when āśrama-karmas are consciously offered to Śiva, action becomes purified and supports release from pāśa (bondage) under the grace of Pati (Śiva).

By declaring ordinary fire-rites to be ‘Śiva-arpana,’ it frames ritual action as direct worship of Saguna Śiva—commonly approached through the Śiva-liṅga—where the offering’s inner intention (dedication to Śiva) is the essential rule.

Perform your prescribed homa/agni-karya (as appropriate to your life-stage) with the explicit sankalpa of ‘Śivārpaṇam,’ mentally offering the act and its fruits to Lord Śiva—optionally accompanied by japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya).
