Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Emphasizes that Śiva’s worship (especially homa/offerings) is accessible to all; even minimal offerings done with sincerity are spiritually efficacious.
It teaches that sincerity and devotion to Pati (Shiva) are primary; worship is valid when performed within one’s means, even if the offering is minimal.
It supports Saguna Shiva worship through accessible ritual action—offering into fire (and by extension, offerings in Linga-puja)—showing that Shiva accepts devotion regardless of external completeness.
A simple homa-style offering: give at least one āhuti of ghee (or with available substitutes/implements), while maintaining focused remembrance of Shiva—ideally alongside mantra-japa such as the Panchakshara.
