Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It teaches an inward dhyāna where the seeker merges attention into Shiva-consciousness, visualized as a subtle bindu, and realizes purification as mala (impurity) is dispelled by the Lord’s own light—pointing to liberation through Shiva’s grace and steady contemplation.
The bindu-like, radiant consciousness is the inner essence of the Linga: outer Linga worship supports Saguna devotion, while this verse directs the devotee to internalize that worship as meditation on Shiva’s luminous presence, moving from form-supported practice to subtle realization.
A focused dhyāna: withdraw the mind inward, hold a one-pointed awareness on a blue bindu-like light, and contemplate it as self-luminous and purifying; this can be paired with japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and Tripuṇḍra/bhasma as supportive Shaiva disciplines.
