शिशुकस्य शिवशास्त्रप्राप्तिः (Śiśuka’s Attainment of Śaiva Teaching and Grace)
राज्यं स्वर्गं च मोक्षं च भोजनं क्षीरसंभवम् । न लभन्ते प्रियाण्येषां न तुष्यति यदा शिवः
rājyaṃ svargaṃ ca mokṣaṃ ca bhojanaṃ kṣīrasaṃbhavam | na labhante priyāṇyeṣāṃ na tuṣyati yadā śivaḥ
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Significance: Establishes a Siddhāntic hierarchy of fruits: bhoga (enjoyments), svarga, and mokṣa are contingent upon Śiva-prasāda; without it, even basic sustenance is obstructed.
Offering: naivedya
It teaches that all attainments—worldly power, heavenly merit, and even moksha—ultimately depend on Śiva’s grace; without His satisfaction, even ordinary comforts fail, showing the primacy of Pati (Śiva) over pasha (bondage) and pashu (the bound soul).
It underscores that Saguna worship—such as Śiva-liṅga pūjā with devotion—aims at pleasing Śiva; the fruit is not merely ritual merit but the opening of grace that supports both worldly wellbeing and liberation.
The practical takeaway is to prioritize Śiva-upāsanā that leads to His satisfaction—daily liṅga-abhisheka, japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and wearing/using rudrākṣa and bhasma with purity and devotion.
