एतां ज्योतिर्लिंगकथां यः पठेच्छृणुयादपि । मुच्यते सर्वपापेभ्यो भुक्तिं मुक्तिं च विन्दति
etāṃ jyotirliṃgakathāṃ yaḥ paṭhecchṛṇuyādapi | mucyate sarvapāpebhyo bhuktiṃ muktiṃ ca vindati
من يتلو —أو حتى يستمع— إلى هذه الحكاية المقدّسة عن الجيوترلينغا (Jyotirliṅga) يتحرّر من جميع الآثام، وينال كِلا الأمرين: bhukti (الهناء الدنيوي القويم) وmukti (التحرّر)، بنعمة الرب شيفا.
