मुहुर्मम समायाति ज्ञानं भिक्षुवर प्रभो । त्वं शिवः करुणासिन्धुस्त्वद्भक्तोयं शिशुः पुरा

مرّة بعد مرّة، يا ربّ، يا خيرَ المتسوّلين الزهّاد، ينهض في داخلي الفهمُ الحقّ. أنتَ شيفا، بحرُ الرحمة؛ وهذا الطفلُ كان من قبلُ من عبّادك المخلصين.

It affirms that jñāna (right, liberating understanding) repeatedly dawns by Śiva’s grace, because Śiva is karuṇā itself; devotion (bhakti) carried from the past becomes the cause for present awakening.
By addressing Śiva as the compassionate Lord encountered in a perceivable form (here, as an ascetic), the verse supports Saguna-upāsanā—worship of Śiva with attributes—such as Linga worship, through which divine grace matures into inner knowledge.
A practical takeaway is steady bhakti leading to jñāna: perform daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with reverence, and keep the mind turned to Śiva’s compassion while offering simple pūjā (bhasma/Tripuṇḍra and Rudrākṣa may be adopted if aligned with one’s tradition).
