शिवस्तस्याः समाज्ञाय गुप्तं चक्रे मनोभवम् । सत्ये पणं स्वकीयं हि कथा बह्वीर्वदन्प्रभुः
śivastasyāḥ samājñāya guptaṃ cakre manobhavam | satye paṇaṃ svakīyaṃ hi kathā bahvīrvadanprabhuḥ
ولمّا أدرك شيفا قصدَها، كتم في ذاته اضطرابَ الشهوة. وإذ كان وفيًّا لنذرِه، تكلّم الربُّ السيّد بكلماتٍ كثيرة صونًا للحقّ وحفظًا لعهدِه.
