शिवसतीविवाहोत्तरलीला — Post‑marital Līlā of Śiva and Satī
संभोगविषये देवी सती तस्य मनः प्रिया । विशतीव हरस्यांगे पाययन्निव तद्रसम्
saṃbhogaviṣaye devī satī tasya manaḥ priyā | viśatīva harasyāṃge pāyayanniva tadrasam
وفي شأن الوصال الزوجي، بدت الإلهة ساتي—المحبوبة إلى قلبه—كأنها تدخل جسد هارا (شيفا)، وكأنها تسقيه جوهر تلك النشوة نفسها.

Shakti Form: Satī
Role: liberating
It portrays the sanctified, divine union of Śiva and Satī as a sacred “rasa” (essence of bliss), pointing beyond bodily pleasure to the deeper Shaiva vision of Śiva-Śakti harmony that steadies the mind in devotion.
The verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva (Hara) in intimate līlā with Śakti; in Linga worship, the same truth is honored symbolically—Śiva as the स्थाणु (steady Reality) and Śakti as the manifesting power—inviting the devotee to contemplate their inseparable oneness.
A practical takeaway is to worship Śiva with भाव (devotional contemplation) while japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” meditating on Śiva-Śakti unity; this refines desire into devotion and supports inner steadiness.
