Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It teaches that the individual self and even cosmic deities are not independent absolutes; all powers of creation, preservation, and dissolution arise from the one Supreme Lord, Shiva, who is the Paramātman.
The verse supports Saguna worship as a doorway to realizing the Nirguna truth: the Linga represents Shiva as the Supreme Reality from whom all functional divine roles emerge and into whom they resolve.
Meditate on Shiva as Paramātman while japa of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), contemplating that all actions and cosmic functions rest in Him; offer worship with bhakti as a practice of surrender.
