विष्णोर्दर्शनं स्तुतिश्च
Viṣṇu’s Manifestation and Brahmā’s Hymn
विष्णुरुवाच । इत्युक्त्वांतर्हितो जातः कृपां कृत्वा महेश्वरः । अभूतां सुखिनावावां स्वस्वकार्यपरायणौ
viṣṇuruvāca | ityuktvāṃtarhito jātaḥ kṛpāṃ kṛtvā maheśvaraḥ | abhūtāṃ sukhināvāvāṃ svasvakāryaparāyaṇau
Vishnu
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It highlights Śiva’s anugraha (grace): by His compassion, agitation is dissolved and the devotees return to inner contentment and steady performance of dharma—an essential Shaiva Siddhanta theme where Pati (Śiva) uplifts the bound souls through grace.
Maheśvara’s compassionate, personal intervention reflects Saguna Śiva—approachable and responsive to devotion. Linga-worship similarly centers on seeking Śiva’s grace that restores clarity, peace, and right action.
A practical takeaway is to seek Śiva’s grace through japa of the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and then resume one’s svadharma with steadiness; offerings like bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) and simple Śiva-pūjā support this attitude of purified duty.
