tattvasiddhāṃtamākhyātaṃ śṛṇu sadbuddhimāvaha | yathārthaṃ nigamākhyātaṃ nirṇīya bhavakārakam

It emphasizes that liberation-oriented wisdom begins with tattva-siddhānta—rightly discerning reality as taught by the Vedas—so one can diagnose the cause of bhava (saṁsāra) and turn toward Shiva as the transcendent liberator.
By grounding practice in Vedic truth and clear discernment (sadbuddhi), devotion to Saguna Shiva (including Linga worship) becomes a means to purify understanding and transcend bhava, leading toward realization of Shiva beyond limiting bonds.
A key takeaway is śravaṇa and manana—listening to Shaiva teachings and contemplating their meaning—supported by daily japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) to stabilize sadbuddhi and detach from the causes of saṁsāra.
