पार्वत्याः यात्रासंस्कारः तथा पातिव्रत्योपदेशः / Preparations for Girijā’s Auspicious Journey and the Teaching on Pātivratya
संयतोपस्करा दक्षा हृष्टा व्ययपराङ्मुखी । भवेत्सा सर्वदा देवी पतिव्रतपरायणा
saṃyatopaskarā dakṣā hṛṣṭā vyayaparāṅmukhī | bhavetsā sarvadā devī pativrataparāyaṇā
ينبغي لها أن تُحسن تنظيم أدوات البيت وممتلكاته، وأن تكون كفؤةً مجتهدة، دائمة البِشر، مُعرضةً عن الإسراف في النفقة. وهكذا تصير تلك السيدة النبيلة على الدوام مكرَّسةً لنذر الوفاء لزوجها (باتيفراتا).

Significance: Interprets household order, cheerfulness, and non-waste as dharmic stewardship—supporting the social body that sustains Śiva-bhakti, dāna, and vrata.

It teaches that dharmic household restraint, cheerful steadiness, and avoidance of waste support inner purity (śuddhi) and strengthen bhakti; such virtues make pativratā-dharma a lived spiritual discipline aligned with Shaiva ideals of self-control (saṃyama).
In the Parvati-centered narrative of the Rudrasaṃhitā, disciplined conduct and faithful devotion are presented as outward supports for Saguna Shiva-bhakti—making the home and mind fit for regular pūjā, mantra-japa, and reverence to Śiva as the Lord (Pati).
The verse implies niyama-based practice: moderation, careful use of resources, and steady devotion; practically, it supports daily Shiva-pūjā and Panchākṣarī japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) done with a calm, regulated household life.
