Menā’s Vision of Śiva’s Divine Form

Shiva Form: Rudra

Offering: pushpa
The verse highlights that divine action flows from Shiva’s grace when He is invoked through sincere stotra-bhakti; the devotee’s intent aligns with dharma (deva-kārya), and Shiva, the supreme Pati, responds as the compassionate Lord who empowers righteous aims.
By describing Rudra being praised with many hymns, the verse reflects Saguna-upāsanā—approaching Shiva through name, form, and attributes (often as Linga-worship with stotras). Such devotion is a direct means to receive Shiva’s anugraha (grace) for protecting cosmic order.
It suggests stotra-pāṭha (recitation of hymns) with clear sankalpa for dharmic purposes; as a Shaiva practice, one may pair this with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and simple worship such as offering bilva leaves while contemplating Rudra’s protective power.
