Himālaya Mission of the Gods’ Preceptor / The Gods Send Their Guru
Parvati (addressing a devotee/sage of the Nārāyaṇa lineage within the narrative frame of Rudrasaṃhitā, Pārvatīkhaṇḍa)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
The verse teaches that even a “steady” intellect can be spiritually inauspicious if it is fixed in wrong understanding; true auspiciousness arises from awakening to right discernment aligned with Shiva-tattva.
Linga/Saguna worship is meant to purify buddhi and turn it toward the highest good; this verse functions as a corrective—urging the seeker to abandon misguided notions and awaken to proper devotional and philosophical orientation toward Shiva.
The practical takeaway is “vibodha”—wakeful self-examination and correction of intention—supported by japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) to make the intellect truly maṅgala (auspicious).
