पार्वत्याः तपः—हिमालयादिभिः उपदेशः / Pārvatī’s Austerity and Counsel from Himālaya and Others
सर्वे भवंतो गच्छंतु स्वं स्वं धाम प्रहर्षिताः । भविष्यत्येव तुष्टोऽसौ नात्र कार्य्या विचारणा
sarve bhavaṃto gacchaṃtu svaṃ svaṃ dhāma praharṣitāḥ | bhaviṣyatyeva tuṣṭo'sau nātra kāryyā vicāraṇā
«اذهبوا جميعًا فرِحين إلى مساكنكم. إنه سيُرضى يقينًا؛ ولا حاجة إلى مزيد من التشاور في هذا الأمر.»
Sūta Gosvāmin (narrating the Purāṇic account to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya; the line reflects an instruction given within the story)
Tattva Level: pati
It teaches niścaya (firm conviction) in Śiva’s grace: once the proper devotional course is set, one should proceed without doubt, trusting that the Lord (Pati) surely becomes pleased and bestows auspicious results.
In Saguna worship—such as Liṅga-pūjā—faithful completion of one’s prescribed devotion and respectful withdrawal (without anxiety or overthinking) is emphasized; the verse underscores confidence that Śiva accepts sincere worship and intention.
A practical takeaway is to complete one’s Śiva-upāsanā with steadiness—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and a calm, doubt-free mind—then conclude the rite peacefully, trusting Śiva’s satisfaction.
