गिरिजाया तपोऽनुज्ञा

Permission for Girijā’s Austerities

कर्तव्यो न हठः पुत्रि गंतव्यं न बहिः क्वचित् । साधितं किं त्वया पूर्वं पुनः किं साधयिष्यसि

kartavyo na haṭhaḥ putri gaṃtavyaṃ na bahiḥ kvacit | sādhitaṃ kiṃ tvayā pūrvaṃ punaḥ kiṃ sādhayiṣyasi

«يا ابنتي، لا تكوني عنيدة؛ ولا تخرجي إلى أيّ مكان. ماذا أنجزتِ من قبل؟ وماذا تظنّين أنّك ستنجزين الآن من جديد؟»
