वत्सोपि पीडितस्तेन श्रांतश्चैवाभवत्तदा । दुग्धा गौर्मोचितो वत्सो न क्रोधेन द्विजन्मना

vatsopi pīḍitastena śrāṃtaścaivābhavattadā | dugdhā gaurmocito vatso na krodhena dvijanmanā

حتى العِجلُ، وقد عُذِّب بسببه، أضحى مُنهكًا آنذاك. كانت البقرة قد حُلِبت، وأُطلِق العِجل، غير أنّ «ذو الميلادين» (البراهمن) لم يترك غضبه.
