स्थित्वासने जपेन्मौनी चैलाजिनकुशोत्तरे । आब्राह्मं च मुहूर्ते तु गायत्री दृढमानसः

جالسًا بثبات على مقعده، ملتزمًا الصمت (maunī)، وقد بسط قماشًا فوق جلد الغزال (ajina) وعشب الكوشا (kuśa)، ينبغي للممارس الثابت القلب أن يكرّر جَپَا غاياتري (Gāyatrī) ابتداءً من وقت البرهما-موهورتا (brāhma-muhūrta).
