مَن ذا، يا إندرا، لأجلِ عونِكَ، يجرؤُ بشرٌ فانٍ أن يقتربَ منك؟ حقًّا، بالإيمانِ (śraddhā)، يا مَغهافان، إنَّ العابدَ القويَّ—في السماءِ البعيدة—يبتغي أن يظفرَ بـ vāja، جائزةِ القوتِ والبقاء.

मघोनः स्म वृत्रहत्येषु चोदय ये ददति प्रिया वसु तव प्रणीती हर्यश्व सूरिभिर्विश्वा तरेम दुरिता
حرِّكْنا حقًّا، يا مَغهافان، في المعاركِ التي يُصرَعُ فيها فِرِترا (Vṛtra)؛ وامْنَحْ رضاكَ لمن يقدّمون ثروةً محبوبةً مقبولة. بهدايتِكَ، يا هَرْيَأَشْوَا (Haryaśva)، لِنَجُزْ—مع الكرماءِ—كلَّ duritā، كلَّ شِدّةٍ وبلاء.
