{ "gloss_summary": "Sāyaṇa explains ‘asta’ as Agni’s seat/home in the sacrifice—contextually the ritual fire-place where offerings go as to a dwelling. ‘Dhenavaḥ’ can denote cows and also the milk/oblations that ‘flow’ to Agni. The verse petitions Agni to bring iṣ to the stotṛs.", "ritual_interpretation": "Agni is the locus receiving havis; all resources converge to the yajña through him, and the requested iṣ is the yajamāna’s and priests’ sustenance/benefit.", "theological_insight": "Agni’s ‘house’ is the bridge-point where material offering becomes divine gift; praise (stotra) is the activating condition for that exchange.", "etymology_highlights": "asta as ‘āste’ (seat/dwelling) in ritual sense; iṣ as nourishing refreshment/strength-giving food." }
