ये पातयन्ते अज्मभिर्गिरीणां स्नुभिरेषाम् । यज्ञं महिष्वणीनां सुम्नं तुविष्वणीनां प्राध्वरे ॥

yé pātáyante ájmabhir girīṇā́ṃ snúbhir eṣām | yajñáṃ mahíṣvaṇīnām súmnaṃ tuvíṣvaṇīnām prá adhvaré ||

أولئك الذين يسرعون بخُطاهم المندفعة على امتداد الجبال، بقواهم المنسابة—فليتقدّم يَجْنَهُم (yajña) في المسير؛ ولْيَزْدَدْ سُمنَ (sumna) ذوو الصوت العظيم، ذوو الصوت الجبّار، في هذا الطقس المقدّس.
