Sukta 8.4
यदिन्द्र प्रागपागुदङ्न्यग्वा हूयसे नृभिः । सिमा पुरू नृषूतो अस्यानवेऽसि प्रशर्ध तुर्वशे ॥
yád indra prā́g apā́g údaṅ nyàg vā hūyáse nṛ́bhiḥ | símā purū́ nṛ-sū́to asyā́nave ’si praśardha turváśe ||
يا إندرا، سواء دُعيتَ من الشرق أو من الغرب، من العلوّ أو من السفل على ألسنة الناس—فأنت حقًّا الواحدُ الكثيرُ الوجوه، المولودُ من قوّةِ نفسِ الإنسان. أنتَ الغالبُ الذي يندفعُ قُدُمًا لطالبِ السعي؛ فتعالَ قوّةً ظافرةً لتُرفاشا (Turvaśa)، تلك النفسِ المجاهدة.
