इन्द्रासोमा तपतं रक्ष उब्जतं न्यर्पयतं वृषणा तमोवृधः । परा शृणीतमचितो न्योषतं हतं नुदेथां नि शिशीतमत्रिणः ॥

Transliteration

indrā́somā tápataṃ rákṣa ubjátam ní arpayataṃ vṛṣaṇā tamo-vṛ́dhaḥ | párā śṛṇītam acíto ní oṣataṃ hatáṃ nudéthāṃ ní śiśītam atríṇaḥ ||

Translation

يا إندرا وسوما، التهبا؛ اسحقا قوى الظلمة المعادية؛ واطرحا إلى أسفل من يشتدّ بنموّه في الليل. حطّماهم بعيدًا؛ وأحرقا من لا يملك رؤيةً مستيقظة؛ اضربا واطردا الآكلين—واشحذا قوتكما على المخرّبين في الداخل.
