Sukta 4.17
भिनद्गिरिं शवसा वज्रमिष्णन्नाविष्कृण्वानः सहसान ओजः । वधीद्वृत्रं वज्रेण मन्दसानः सरन्नापो जवसा हतवृष्णीः ॥
bhinád giríṃ śávasā vájram iṣṇánnā́viṣkṛṇvānáḥ sahasāná ójaḥ | vadhīd vṛtráṃ vájreṇa mandasānáḥ sárann ā́po jávasā hatá-vṛṣṇīḥ ||
شقَّ الجبلَ الحابسَ بقوّة بأسه، قاذفًا الفَجْرَةَ/الفَجْرَةَ (ڤَجْرا) مُظهِرًا الخفيَّ بقدرةٍ ظافرة. وقتل ڤِرترا بالڤَجْرا في نشوةِ قوّة السُّوما؛ ثم اندفعت المياهُ باندفاعٍ سريع، وقد ضُرِبت قوّةُ حبسها فسقطت.
