Sukta 10.91
तमोषधीर्दधिरे गर्भमृत्वियं तमापो अग्निं जनयन्त मातरः । तमित्समानं वनिनश्च वीरुधोऽन्तर्वतीश्च सुवते च विश्वहा ॥
tám oṣádhīr dadhire gárbham ṛtviyáṃ tám ā́po agníṃ janayanta mātáraḥ | tám ít samānám vanínaś ca vīrúdho ’ntárvatīś ca súvate ca viśváhā ||
احتضنتْه الأعشابُ جنينًا موافقًا للموسم (ṛtviyam)؛ وأنجبتْه المياهُ—الأمهاتُ—ذلك أغني (Agni). ذلك الواحدُ، هو هو دائمًا؛ تُخرِجه الأشجارُ والمتسلّقاتُ، والنباتاتُ الحواملُ، وتُطلقه في الحركة بلا انقطاع، على الدوام.
