आ वो यक्ष्यमृतत्वं सुवीरं यथा वो देवा वरिवः कराणि । आ बाह्वोर्वज्रमिन्द्रस्य धेयामथेमा विश्वाः पृतना जयाति ॥

ā́ vo yakṣy amṛtátvaṃ suvī́raṃ yáthā vo devā́ varívaḥ karāṇi | ā́ bāhvór vájram índrasya dheyām áthemā́ viśvā́ḥ pṛ́tanā jayāti ||

سأُقيم لكم اليَجْنَةَ ابتغاءَ الخلودِ وقوّةِ الفُتُوَّة، لكي—يا أيها الآلهة—أُهيِّئ لكم في داخلي فُسحةً واسعة. وسأجعل في ذراعيَّ صاعقةَ إندرا (فَجْرَه/فَجْرا)؛ فلتُنتَصَرْ عندئذٍ جميعُ هذه المعارك—كلُّ صراعٍ يجبُ فيه للنور أن يغلبَ الظلمةَ المُقاوِمة.
