Sukta 1.177
ये ते वृषणो वृषभास इन्द्र ब्रह्मयुजो वृषरथासो अत्याः । ताँ आ तिष्ठ तेभिरा याह्यर्वाङ्हवामहे त्वा सुत इन्द्र सोमे ॥
yé te vṛ́ṣaṇo vṛṣabhā́sa indra brahma-yújo vṛ́ṣa-rathāso átyāḥ | tā́n ā́ tíṣṭha tébhir ā́ yāhy arvā́ṅ havāmahe tvā sutá índra sóme ||
تلك خيولُكَ القويةُ الشبيهةُ بالثور، يا إندرا—المُقترَنةُ بالكلمةِ المقدسة (برهمن)، الجارّةُ للعربةِ الجبّارة. فاركبْها؛ وبها أَقْبِلْ إلى هنا. إنّا ندعوك حين يُعصَرُ السُّوما، يا إندرا.
