tad astraṃ jvalitaṃ ghoraṃ lakṣmaṇaḥ śaram āhitam | atikāyāya cikṣepa kāladaṇḍam ivāntakaḥ ||

Translation

ولكشمانا، بعدما أثبت ذلك الأسترا الرهيب المتّقد على سهم، قذفه نحو أتيكايا، كأنّ الموتَ يلقي عصا الزمان.
